Eventually, Universal must be hopeful that it can veer these reformed melody fans into paying customers. Apparently, though, children consumers (you know, the stereotypical melody pirate) will tolerate online advertising, so long as it's important, if it gets them gratis tracks. It will be interesting to see whether this shape takes off and how long they can sustain it as a revenue generator based only on advertising. What do you think?
